When we purchased this home out of foreclosure, our goal was to turn this raised ranch into a luxury home you'd only find in Westchester County. I think we exceeded our goal. Situated on almost two acres, this home is the very best Dutchess County has to offer under $300,000.
We used the modern farmhouse design for our inspiration.
The interior was dark, closed off, and uninviting. So we used the exterior black and white color design for the interior, and opened things up.
In the master bathroom, we decided to eliminate the tub and replace it with a custom shower and vanity.
The lower level in a raised ranch traditionally features a family room and garage. Our house was designed without a garage in the lower level, so we used every square inch and created an amazing space designed for entertainment.
